	Chairman - John Retson 55,000 hens Blairgowrie John Retson is the Association Chairman. He has 55,000 birds supplying Noble Foods. He also rears Organic birds. John represents BFREPA on the BEIC.
	Treasurer - Mary Pipkin Carmarthenshire “Living where I do in a remote part of the country it would be easy to feel isolated but belonging to BFREPA means that I always know what is going on in the world of free range.”

Council Members

SOUTH EAST REGION

Mr David Trick
David is a former chairman of BFREPA and now operates a poultry consultancy service. He represents free range interests at the BEA and the BEIC Technical Committee. He is also a member of the RSPCA Laying Hen Working Group.

SOUTH WEST REGION

	Mr Philip Ayre Philip has 25,000 birds supplying Deans.
	Mr Dan Wood The Wood family have been producing eggs since 1979 and now employ 17 full time members of staff as well as packing eggs for other local, family run farms.
	Mr John Warne John has 6000 birds supplying Stonegate and Waitrose.

CENTRAL REGION

	Ms Vanessa J Mogridge Vanessa has 6,000 free range layers, soon to be expanded to 9,000. In addition the farm has a small flock of breeding ewes and a fishing lake.
	Mr Stephen Bowen Stephen has 24,800 birds supplying Sunrise Eggs from a mixed LFA farm on the Welsh border in Herefordshire.

EAST MIDLANDS REGION

	Mr Des Bradley Des has 65,000 birds supplying Noble. The rest of the 900 acre farm is down to arable and grass for a beef enterprise.
	Mr Richard Higgins Richard has 65,000 birds on free-range as well as a large intesive flock and egg retailing business.

WEST MIDLANDS REGION

	Mrs Chris Kynaston Farming in partnership with husband and daughter, Chris keeps 4,600 free rangelayers packing and selling to retail outlets and farmers markets.

EAST ANGLIA REGION

	Mr Jeff Vergerson Jeff has 15,000 organic birds supplying Noble Foods. He is a member of the government's organic advisory body ACOS, sits on the Freedom Food Working Group and vice-chairman of the British Egg Association.
	Mr Trevor Sellers Trevor has 15,000 birds supplying Noble Foods.

NORTH EAST REGION

	Mr Charlie Stephenson Charlie has 40,000 birds supplying an independent packer and rears his own replacement pullets.
	Mr Stewart Elliott Stewart has 37,000 birds marketed through EggSell.

NORTH WEST REGION

	Mr John Geldard John has 39,000 birds with output split between a retail round and a packer, in addition to a farm shop and food services business.
	Mr Leo Gillen Leo has 16,000 birds supplying EggSell and sits on the Board of EggSell producers.

WALES

	Mr Tom Vesey Tom, retired from production and as Chairman of the Association in 2009 but did have 16,000 birds supplying Noble.
	Mrs Mary Pipkin Mary is the association's treasurer and has 7,500 birds supplying a local packer and markets.
	Mr Kevin Miles Kevin has 5,000 birds supplying Noble, in addition to a beef and sheep enterprise and a caravan park.

SCOTLAND

	Mr James Maclean James has a 9,000 organic and 12,000 free range birds within a 400 acre arable operation which are supplied to Noble Foods.
	Mr John Retson John is the Association Chairman, represents BFREPA on the BEIC and has 55,000 birds supplying Noble.

CO-OPTED MEMBERS

	Ms Olivia Potter Olivia is responsible for a pullet rearing operation producing over 1 million birds a year, primarily for the free range sector.
	Mr Steve Carlyle Steve is a director of a large independent pullet rearing company.
	Mr Martin Humphrey Martin is a Managing Director of Humphrey Feeds, based in Winchester, a company specialising in organic and free range feed and is a regular contributor to the Ranger magazine.
	Mr Alan Dickinson Alan has 16,000 birds, also has sheep, beef and arable.
	Mr Robert Newbery Robert Newbery is Chief Poultry Advisor at the NFU.
	Mr Richard Barton Richard, farming together with his family as 'Grassington Rangers' has 55,000 Organic birds supplying Noble foods. In addition he also rears 55,000 pullets per year.
	Mr John Dalrymple John has 6,000 free range hens, from which he markets his own eggs and supplies some to Glenrath Farms.
